What is the difference between Speech and Language?
- Speech is how we verbally communicate. It includes articulation (specific sounds), voice (using our breathing and vocal chords to produce sounds) and fluency (the rhythm when we speak). Testimonials
“During my child’s first couple of sessions with Alyssa he was a bit of a handful with lots of energy. Alyssa handled him beautifully and kept him on track. She is ready with fun activities that tap into my son’s needs and interests. Alyssa’s praise for my son when he makes correct sounds is genuine, natural and not forced. My son always says that he had fun! After each session, Alyssa provides new activities for our home program. It has been a great pleasure working with Alyssa. ”
“Alyssa, thank you for EVERYTHING you have done and all the support you have given my daughter and our family over the years. I really don’t have the words to express our gratitude. ”
